VeriFone/Lipman NURIT 8000 GPRS Wireless Terminal
I hope you are familiar with and know how to use this terminal (or will have the CC processor rep instruct you). I am not trying to "sell" you its features (and clutter this space with specifications)
NOTE: This is the GPRS version, NOT Mobitex. !!! The Mobitex version is being phased out even as there are thousands installed. The only network/technology used and recommended is GPRS which has wide national coverage (uses the cellphone network).
They all look the same from the outside except back labels:
GPRS has only a S/N sticker : 8010US11A##-100####### (A=letter, #=digit)
Mobitex has a sticker headed by RIM or Wavenet and 2 numbers = ESN and MAN.
Below that is the S/N sticker starting with 8010US13A##-
Avoid #8010US16xxx as they are proprietary to Total Merch Services and cannot be activated by anyone else !
INCLUDES: Power Adapter, NEW External Modem, Stylus, Telephone Cord, a FULL Paper Roll, and a short form instruction sheet. The picture shown is my 'stock picture' and is similar to what you will get.
My WARRANTY will NOT cover physical damage, liquid spills, and power surges (due to lightning). We recommend using a SURGE SUPPRESSOR with both power-line and telephone-line protection.
