Driquik quikcone electric ceramic long wavelength oven
DriQuik QuikCOne Electric Ceramic Long Wavelength Oven
by CCI Thermal Technologies Inc.
The DriQuik QuikCONE Electric Ceramic Long Wavelength Oven has been at the forefront of the DriQuik product offerings since its inception in 1946, and has remained the product of choice for many manufacturers who have come to trust its reliability and versatility. It is very popular for use on heat-sensitive substrates such as wood and plastic, and is most effective for drying and curing water or solvent based wet coats. However, it is also capable of curing standard high temperature powder coat on light gauge materials.
The QuikCONE is typically used in low infrared density wet coat curing applications, such as wet coat fine finish curing for both flat panels and three dimensional case goods in the woodworking industry, as well as curing wet coat finishes on metal substrates and composite curing.
* Durable and highly efficient long wave emitter features high-grade nichrome wire that is helically wrapped around a scientifically engineered ceramic cone-shaped core and encased in a high-mass, hardened sand slurry; each emitter is mounted within an independent polished stainless steel parabolic reflector (10.5" x 10.5" and 15" x 15" sizes available), enabling a superior uniform heat pattern
* Reflector and emitter assembly mounted within a formed steel housing, finished in a durable textured polyester powder coat
* Available in a range of wattages, from 500W to 1500W, depending on unit model and series
* Available in a range of voltages, from 95V to 150V; appropriate for 380V to 600V systems, depending on voltage selected
* Standard back-loading design for safe and convenient maintenance access; front-loading configurations available upon request
This oven was recently removed from an injection molding paint curing line for the purposes of upgrading to a larger oven for more capacity. The oven served in the drying and curing phase of the painting process for molded parts. This system has been maintained and PM on a regular basis and is in excellent running condition.
The oven canopies could also be reconfigured with frame modifications if a different size envelop is necessary for you application. The oven could even possibly be reconfigured for an automotive paint drying booth or curing for powder coat on light gauge materials.
Inside Width (between elements) : 66
Carefully taken out of operation last week.
