ARCAIR SLICE CORDLESS STRICKER PACK
Complete with Tool Box, Torch, Striker, Recharging Unit, Igniter and Recharging Unit, Collet Extension, Collet Extension Shield, Coupling, Twenty-Five (25) 1/4in (6.4mm) Cutting Rods and Instruction Manual
The SLICE Cordless Striker Pack uses teo small lead-acid batteries to supplu a current surage sufficient enough to ingite both the 1/4" and 3/8" bare SLICE Cutting Rods.
It includes one igniter and charger. Available in 120 volt AC only.
The Arcair slice cutting system can cut, burn or pierce virtually any metallic, non-metallic or composite material. The system cuts through hard-to-cut materials such as stainless steels, cast iron, aluminium, magnesium plus many other ferrous and non-ferrous metals, even when it is caked with mud, rust or other corrosion. It will cut through slag and refractory materials and can punch through concrete or brick. The Arcair slice is a must for maintenance and repair departments, it can remove headless bolts and frozen pins, cut insulated pipes and ducting, cut through coated structural steel, burn through bridge steel and decking, cut concrete lined pipes, cut through or remove hardfacing from buckets and wear surfaces plus many other tasks. Because the Arcair slice system needs no pre-heat, you can start cutting sooner and finish the job faster.
The Arcair slice system works by feeding oxygen and electrical power through a patented slice exothermic cutting rod, you supply oxygen and a 12 volt battery or welding machine (cc).
The battery gives you fast ignition and portability, the welding machine lets you maintain a continuous arc (up to 200 amps) with conductive materials for a cutting temperature of over 5500 c. Either way, you simply turn on the oxygen and touch the cutting rod to the slice striker or grounded work piece. The cutting rod ignites immediately and continues to burn as long as there is a supply of oxygen, even without current, it produces temperatures hot enough to cut virtually any material.
