Developed in the 1980's, this scissors style adjustable lab stand can be used for many lab applications. The most common use is to raise a laboratory heater to the proper height for organic or inorganic distillation procedures. The picture shows how this can be done. This labjack comes with removable 20 x 20 cm platform and 45 cm long support rod. The top platform is 6 in x 4.5 (15 x 12 cm) in and extends to 10 3/8 inches from the closed height of 3 inches. This unit has a baked enamel finish. Both base plate and top come with some openings for bolting to counter top or bolting equipment to the top plate. Jack is rated for up to 100 lbs.
