We bought these units from the family of the original owner/builder. The son of the owner also built a set for himself. He's assured us that everything was working a few years ago when last in service but also noted that caps can dry up etc. due to non-use, typical of older electronics, though he didn't feel that enough time had passed to have that be an issue with this set.
The faceplate looks GOOD but please note the four holes in the center section. The case shows some light average wear for its age but still looks good too.
We will guarantee this speaker to be working as-tested. We've tested this for sound volume ONLY, for a very brief stint. Other than that, there are no known issues.
