Included is the Factory Motorola Service Manual
for the Radius P10 and P50 Portable.
These TX/RX modules have been pulled from their HT handheld housing. These were used for Telemetry use and in building linking as part of a man-down "Are you OK system" Telemetry polling system with Voice verification if a worker did not answer his telemetry poll. The bottom line is all necessary signals Audio, TX, RX, COS, RX Audio, TX Audio have all been tapped on the board and brought out to a RJ11 connector for ease of interfacing. I believe all these signal were brought out to the connector but the board cold easily be re-tapped using the supplied manual to fulfill your specific needs.
These could be used for a variety of uses. These are 2 channel units. I cannot promise it, but knowing the developer of this project he MAY have also terminated the RJ11 with the ability to change channel but I cannot guarantee that.
To the best of my knowledge these are P50 non-synthesized units ( crystal controlled). This project goes back several years so I am describing these to the best of my ability.
Each P50 TX/RX Module is currently crystalled for:
The Volume and Squelch shaft are still there but the knobs have been removed. These were embedded into a system and the knobs removed to prevent end users from playing with them.
Antenna Connection is BNC, Speaker Mic connection is still intact with the rubber cover. The Channel 1 and 2 switch is still intact and functional.
These could be re-crystalled and make nice little link, telemetry, remote base or voice radios.
These were pulled from working service as the result of a field upgrade.
