18 MHZ ANTENNA / AERIAL IDEAL FOR USE WITH THE FT-817 QRP RADIO
CONSTRUCTED USING MIL-SPEC KEVLAR INSULATED 14Awg AERIAL WIRE
This is one of my hand made aerials for use with my Yaesu FT-817 Qrp radio, Whilst out portable backpack etc
Its cut for the 17 meter band 18 mhz but will also operate on other bands with a small atu
I use the Elecraft T1 auto atu only the size of a pack of cards!
Aerial is very lightweight, But strong, Weight is less than 200gms
Can be deployed horizontal or inverted "V"
Robust dipole centre with amphenol SO239 Connector and matching end Insulators
Just add a length of 50 ohm coax feeder "Not supplied"
Includes a 2 mtr length of mil-spec tie off cord at each end for support on tree branch etc
Could also be used as a home base aerial for small gardens, Tested to full U.K. 400 watts
