Wireless Recordable Inspection Camera - The Perfect Inspection Tool for Busy Professionals
Wireless Recordable Inspection Camera includes a 3 ft cable which also has the flexibility to add in 2 more - 3 ft sections.
The camera/cable diameter is 3/4 inch, so it will fit into tight spaces. The cable is semi-rigid, but flexible, and can be bent to fit or follow the shape of the vehicle or component being viewed. The manufacturer recommends that you limit the bend radius to three inches, however, to prevent cable damage.
Using the Wireless Recordable Inspection Camera
The Wireless Inspection Camera display is clear, even in moderately bright light and, since there is no focus adjustment to fiddle with, you just point and shoot.
Our Wireless Recordable Inspection Camera allows for remote inspection of areas generally inaccessible to the naked eye. The Wireless Camera comes with a distal video camera at the end of a 3 ft shaft for internal inspection of engines, A/C systems, interior structures of walls, and other industrial and similar applications.
Imaging and illumination is provided by a full color image sensor and dual solid state Led's which are controlled by an easy to use rolling switch.
Accessory Mirror allows user to see 90 degrees to axis of the shaft. The Magnet accessory will pick up approx 1/4 lb and a hook is also provided for hard to retrieve items.
* The unit is good not great and not perfect like the units that you can find for thousands of dollars.
* Media type Micro SD card UP to 12 Gig (like commonly used in cell phones)
* Output Media is AVI for Videos and Jpg for Snapshots - AVI can normally be played by Windows media player and Jpg is a common file format used and can be viewed in Windows
* Software is included for viewing the images. It is packed on a mini disc and is compressed in a RAR file if you want to try to use it. We have not tested it since the file formats are standard.
Its very easy to use and here is even a few tricks:
* If you see a bright white screen, you probably have the camera lens right up against a reflective surface that is bouncing the LED light back into the camera, creating glare. Just pull the probe back a bit.
* If you are working inside a contained area with little or no ambient light, remember that the Led's are providing the illumination. Moving the camera tip in and out a bit can improve lighting on the object for the best screen display.
* When using the mirror for right angle views, clean the mirror glass carefully with a lint-free cloth. Small specks of dirt and dust and fingerprints degrade the screen image.

Q. Can the monitor be used on and off of the hand held?
A. Yes you can either keep the monitor mounted on the hand held or use it remotely.
Q. How far away can the monitor be used away from the hand held?
A. It really depends on the environment you are trying to use it in. 10ft should be expected however you may realize much greater depending on the strength of the batteries at the time and the RF interference at the location you are using the Wireless Inspection Camera.
Q. Is the unit water proof or can it be used in liquid?
A. The image head and cable are water resistant to a standard of IP 67 weather proof. This means the tip can be up to 1 m of submersion but the monitor and handheld must NOT be submersed in way.
