Has improved wear resistance and machinability over extruded nylon with less impact strength. Casting ensures uniformity, even across the thickest pieces. Meets ASTM D5989. Also meets UL 94HB for flammability, is FDA compliant, and meets 3-A sanitary standard requirements.
