The SNC-M300 is a high resolution color network camera that comes equipped with a 3 mega pixel CMOS chip that is capable of progressive QXGA (Quad eExtended Graphics Array) scanning. The camera has a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536 and comes equipped with a SD card slot for on-alarm event recording retrievable over the network.
The SNC-M300 uses an onboard embedded Linux OS with standard network protocols such as TCP, UDP and FTP among others. The SNC-M300 streams its video output in TCP and UDP (Unicast and Multicast) with MPEG4, MJPEG and G.711 compression. The camera connects to the network by way of a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet connection. The video quality from the camera is available at Very High, High, Normal, Low, and Very Low settings. It supports SAMSUNG DDNS and public DDNS servers. Images are viewable by way of a web browser (IE 6.0 or higher), or with SAMSUNG Electronics neti_img software.
The SNC-M300 has built-in motion detection that can be set at high, medium and low sensitivity. On an alarm event the camera can be set to send an image by FTP, e-mail and record. The SNC-M300 defends your network integrity by coming equipped with three access levels, administrator, operator and user. The camera supports two way audio and has various time settings, such as NTP Time Sync, Time Zone, and Daylight Savings time setup.
