The surface of Orafil - Plus hardens within 20 30 min by absorbing water (e.g. saliva action). After 2 3 h the temporary filling can be subjected to mastication pressure. For ideal setting or to speed up setting, Orafil - Plus should be kneaded like a dough with wet gloves prior to application into the cavity. Moist cement paste hardens up quickly. Top surface of cavity should be coated with a think layer of glycerine to prevent cement erosion.
Removing Orafil - Plus from the cavity:
Orafil - Plus can easily be removed from the cavity in large pieces with a drill or a scaler. Rinse off any residue from the cavity with a water spray.
Emergency measures, symptoms, antidotes Acute danger due to incidental swallowing of Orafil - Plus can be excluded due to the small quantity
Orafil Plus - Ready to use zinc sulphate cement with fluoride for provisional filling and temporary insertion of permanent crowns and bridges. Indications:
