Both compressors have the Ingersoll-Rand "Intellisys" digital control system. They are both "Air On Demand" systems, which means they do not require a tank. Both compressors run continuously when started but only produce air when air is being used. The remainder of the time they are in "standby" mode and will engage automatically when air is used. Therefore two different hour readings are provided below. The "TOTAL HOURS" is the total time the unit was on which includes producing air and on standby. The "LOADED HOURS" is the amount of time air was being utilized and the compressors were actually producing compressed air.
Everything was working when removed. We did not record the actual hours from the units when we disconnected them because we were planning on re-using everything, so hours below are ESTIMATIONS based on maintenance records for the air compressors. Both compressors are in excellent shape, both physically and mechanically. Everything has been out of service since January 2008.
