This is an amazing tool for reproducing a wide range of carved wood items. Constructed of welded steel, this Duplicator will carve a chair leg in twenty minutes, and reproduce it exactly as the original. Just the thing for rapid production work, or when you want to reproduce a unique original. It will carve the new piece down to where all it needs is a final sanding for completion. The original piece and the new blank of wood to be carved are placed in the holding mechanism and locked in tightly... setup takes just a few minutes. The Mechanism does not move during carving, but is unlocked with the turn of a knob, and the pieces rotated in unison to a new position. Carves in full 3-D with a feather touch. This is a simple manual machine that takes all the rough-out work completely out of the picture.
