JRC NRD-820W HF RECEIVER 0-30Mhz MADE IN JAPAN
We offer yet another radio the JRC HF Receiver Model NRD-820W Made in Japan.This Receiver is from my personal collection and a very rare piece.This is a part of the MF/HF Marine radio staton NTD-825.By giving power to the receiver/controler of the radio station(no longer with me) it searches for the other components of the station to work with, meaning transmiter,antenna,tuner and in the screen you can see the relative error messages, by pressing the "CLR" button it bypasses all them and acts only as a receiver from 100Khz to 30Mhz in CW,LSB,USB,H3E(AM).From the grey pontesiometer (encoder) we have the ability to change the frequency (or ITU international channels) or act as a clarifier.The frequency can also change from the arrows UP & DWN keys 3,6.Off-course from the keypad also with direct entry i.e. 071250 plus ENT for the given freq. 7125,0
Its a very quiet Receive with excellent selectivity and a piece that I really adored.There is no rust or salts but only a small crack on the plastic nect to the RF gain button as you can see in photo 8.
Operating voltage is 24-32VDC negative ground but offers the possibility of change to positive ground in the connector area.
