Used Square D class 6131 electromechanical crane controls for 240 250 Vdc
We have a COMPLETE Square D electromechanical controls from a 15 ton bridge crane. This equipment is in exceptionally good condition and is ready to be wired and put to work on your crane. Say goodbye to those obsolete controls and get something modern!
* (1) class 6131 EGRH-8 hoist controller (please note this does NOT include dynamic lowering capability), NEMA 1 enclosure
* (1) class 6131 EGR-8 bridge controller, NEMA 1 enclosure
* (1) class 6131 CGR-8 trolley controller, NEMA 1 enclosure
* (1) class 6140 main line magnetic manual disconnect for system, 150A continuous, NEMA 1 enclosure
* (2) ventilated resistor enclosures with class 152P Tab Weld resistors for above motors and controls
* All manuals, electrical prints, installation and maintenance paperwork!
* All controllers are reversing plugging type with static (ST) timers
This system was built and installed in 1987, making it a very modern set of electromechanical controls. Today's price for these items is about $65000.00.
These controls were used with 25hp 100A 240Vdc hoist and bridge motors, and a 4hp 16A 240Vdc trolley motor. Based on catalog info, the controls should support up to 35hp hoist and bridge motors and 7.5hp trolley motors, but this will require changes to resistors. Please consult with EC and M regarding changes to hp ratings.
New components for adding dynamic lowering capability to the hoist controller will run you about $2500 and should fit in the existing cabinet. Changes to the resistors for that controller may also be required; we do not have that information. Please consult with EC and M regarding this change.
