V BLOCK (1) MADE FROM AIR-HARDENED A-2 WITH (1) CLAMPS AND (2) VEES MADE OF HARDENED AND PRECISION GROUND TOOL STEEL USED BY MACHINIST AND TOOLMAKERS ALIKE. MADE BY 30 YEAR TOOLMAKER NONE BETTER AND IN EXCELLENT USED CONDITION!!!!! V BLOCK IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION HAVING BEEN ORIGINALLY GROUND USING A HERMANN SCHMIDT SQUARING BLOCK AND MAGNA-SINE ON A BALLWAY SURFACE GRINDER. V BLOCK MEASURES 3.505" LONG x 2.016" WIDE AND IS 2.009" TALL. THE VEE WIDTHS ARE APPX 1.2" OR 1-3/16". V-BLOCK BODY TOP IS DRILLED AND TAPPED 1/4 X 20 (10) TIMES FOR CLAMP PROVIDED AND TO ATTACH AS NEEDED TO ANGLE PLATES, SINE PLATES AND HARIG FIXTURES . VERY HANDY FOR GRINDING EJECTOR PINS AND OTHER LONG ITEMS. EXCELLENT USEFULL BLOCK FOR SURFACE GRINDER OR BRIDGEPORT LIGHT MILLING WORK. WE HAVE USED ONE JUST LIKE IT ON A JIG-GRINDER AND EDM, THEY WORK VERY WELL. SEE PICS.
This is an improved V-block and clamp which has these very versatile features:
* Can be used on its base, on the end or on either side
* The clamp is smaller than the outside width of the block
* The V at the stepped end is at right angles to the base and is handy for holding shouldered studs, pins, etc.
* The block has (10) 1/4-20 tapped holes,
* The block is hardened and precision ground. GNT The sides are parallel and the V is central and parallel to the sides and base
* The clamp is TOOLMAKER MADE.
