These tools work exceptionally well when high feed rates are called for on hardwoods, plywood s and other dense materials. The Chipbreakers are staggered on each flute to produce a smooth cut, it can leave lines in some applications. A great tool for reducing power consumption and vibration.
The chipbreaker is a good tool to use when a finishing tool is not needed and a roughing tool is too much.
