Alarm monitoring system peek measurement model 4400
Details from the Manufacturor:
- 6, 12, 24, channel cards communicating simultaneously with a Central Monitor Card.
- Response time less than 0,8 s programmable up to 60 s.
- Threshold and rate alarms can be configured as required to operate either of two common alarm relays supplied as standard. These relays are connected directly to the internal bus system and are therefore immune from any failure of the monitor card or even its incomplete removal from the system
- The 4400 offers maximum user control in defining how relays will operate on alarm. By this means, relay outputs can be grouped by function to provide selective closures to external devices such as PC's, PLC's, DCS's, or annunciators. They can be configured for reflash or klaxon sequences, depending on the application. Two relays can also be optionally fitted to any channel card to provide per-points contacts.
- Optional DC analogue re-transmission output per channel. 0 to 10mA, 0 to 20mA, 4 to 20mA; Accuracy 0,1% span. Output either directly proportional to input signal or linearised to temperature, using International Standard sensor characteristics, or linearised to a user-entered characteristic.
- Up to 1 A at 24 VDC available on rear terminals for powering transmitters. Protecting by self re-setting fuse.
- Dead band: adjustable 0 to 25% of span in 1% increments individually for each set-point.
- Internal log-book for event registrations. Possibility to visualize on the display all past events.
- Internal diagnostic system for fault self-identification.
- Fully configurable form the front panel. (Possibility to copy channel configuration from channel to channel)
- The measured variable for any selected channel is displayed with engineering unit annotation and user-tagging where appropriate. Alarm set-point information is also continuously shown. If desired, a display scanning sequence can be initiated, with user control of speed and channel to be displayed.
- Optional serial connection (RS232 o RS485) to an external PC for data downloading.
