We tested this unit, but immediately found that it does have some problems. We powered it on and the display came on with a temperature reading which seemed accurate. We realized there was a problem when after five minutes the compressor never came on. We let it sit for a few minutes more, and then we started hearing an intermittent buzzing sound. This sound was probably the freezer trying to start the compressor and failing. We don't know what the problem with the compressor is, or if this is even where the problem lies.
