Solder braid is used in conjuction with a soldering iron to remove molten solder from circuits boards when removing components for replacement.
Comes in a handy dispenser gun with thumbwheel control for rolling out braid a little bit at a time. No chance of burning your fingers. Finger controlled cut-off feature for getting rid of used solder braid. Braid is 1.9mm wide x approx 5m long. Comes with 1 roll of braid in the dispensing gun and 1 spare roll of braid. (10 metres total).
1. Melt solder around component (with soldering iron).
2. Place solder braid over molten solder.
Strong, lightweight plastic body will last for many years of everyday work.
Every hobbyist should have one. Can save many hours of boring circuit board rework.
