This product powers on(light works, bulb not included), on/off switch works, High Intensity button works, Removed from working University Medical Laboratory(Upgraded units), Unit was serviced in 2008(removed University Tag for security purposes, had serial numbers), unit has smooth movements(knobs, moves up/down), 4 Objectives/Lenses look clear(I am not a trained professional, but no visible haze through microscope), Eyepieces are clear(adjustable to fit different users, can open wider), Unit is made in Japan, unit has some minor scratches from normal usage(does not affect performance) and no other tests were performed.
