Complete 500 Watt Stereo FM Transmitter Package
Complete 500 Watt Stereo FM Transmission System. Please note if you are an existing station and do not require the coax or antenna please contact us for the price of the transmitter. System includes the following:
1 x PCS 500W Stereo Transmitter
A COMPLETE ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE GETS YOU ON AIR IN MINUTES!
This package is based on our professional 500 watt 19" rack mounted FM transmitter. Designed for demanding broadcasters, operating in the whole band II, from 87.5 to 108 MHz. This well built and reliable package with a high quality BLF574 600 watt FM AMPLIFIER is the perfect solution for low power FM stations, system is a complete package including our incredible broadband folded dipole antenna, no more worries about tuning to your frequency the MDR1 is capable of accepting any signal between 88-108MHz and matching correctly to your output, unlike "narrow band" antenna that go off tune and blow out your amp in microseconds the MDR1 guarantees no more blown finals, no more failures. We also provide you with 100 feet of super low loss RFC400 coaxial cable including factory installed weatherproofed connectors, (RFC400 is manufactured to a higher specification than Times LMR400 so you know you are getting the best feed line) A complete stereo broadcast package, ready to plug n play.
Transmitter now features dual VSWR protection (hard and software based) in the event damage is caused to the feed line or the antenna our SWR sensor circuit will shut down the bias to the output at the same instant, this method ensures the amplifier will not suffer due to external faults, in the event the system detects an increasing VSWR then our onboard software will take over and begin to lower the units power to a safe level until the matter is addressed.
We did not stop there for protection, all our systems now include dual thermal protection, first line of defense is our software threshold circuitry, once you set this threshold if the unit reaches this level it will turn back the power until normal temperatures are reached, in the event there are fan or cooling failures thermal cutouts will shut down the power to the amplifier until levels fall back to normal, once this happens power is automatically turned back on. We have also upgraded all our internal cooling fans to vantec models, these fans deliver up to 100 cfm each and are thermally controlled by our on-board processor, this method keeps the unit ice cold and noise levels are kept to a minimum during normal operation.
Optional RDS parameters can be programmed with the help of a PC via serial RS232 connection (cable and software included).
