Easily keep your straight-edged knives and kitchen shears in prime condition with Norpro's ceramic knife/scissors sharpener. Provides two-stage sharpening for double-edge and single-edge knife blades. A built-in sharpener designed for both right and left hand scissors and kitchen shears makes it complete.
Place sharpener on a stable surface. Hold the handle firmly with your left hand. Insert a knife or scissor blade into the slot. With light downward pressure, pull the knife toward you in the direction of the large arrow on the sharpener. DO NOT push in the opposite direction. Keep pulling toward you eight to ten times. Carefully wipe the blade with a wet cloth. Note: not for use with serrated knives (bread knives, etc.)
THIS SHARPENER IS NOT MADE TO SHARPEN A CERAMIC KNIFE.
