The 6062A Synthesized RF Signal Generators covers the frequency range of 100kHz to 2.1GHz in 20Hz steps (10Hz steps below 1050MHz).
The 6062A has amplitude and frequency modulation as well as phase and fast-rise pulse modulation. The instruments gallium arsenide pulse modulator generates fast, high quality pulses for testing of pulsed communication and navigation circuits. The 6062A employs a design that can generate very narrow pulses, limited only by the modulator's 15 ns rise and fall time.
The 6062A Synthesized RF Signal Generator is designed for general testing applications requiring good modulation frequency accuracy and output RF performance with moderate spectral purity. The 6062A operates from 100 kHz to 2100 MHz at levels from -137 to +16 dBm. The 6062A has AM FM Phase and Pulse modulation capability. The 6062A is fully programmable and has a VFD display that indicates current settings and status. The 6062A has a crystal time base or optionally a choice of a medium stability or ovenized high stability time bases.
