Golden spangled hamburg chicken hatching eggs 10+
Golden Spangled Hamburgs are in the standard class but are petite in size. Slightly larger than the penciled variety. They have a Golden/Mahogany base with black spangles and are elegant and beautiful. Their origin goes back pre 1700 s.... in both England and Holland they were such prolific layers of white eggs that a common name for them was "the Dutch Everyday Layer." Although egg size is medium they are small eaters and cost less to keep than most breeds. Feed conversion ratio is very good with these active little birds... With rose combs, white ear lobes and blue legs, these are excellent small birds for both pet and exhibition. Our Golden Spangled Hamburgs are young first year layers...they are very active and healthy....cold hardy and clean legged. We have a lovely line . These birds are some of our best layers and are graceful and stately..................... a gentleman's breed~

***Our eggs are guaranteed to be fresh and get you in good shape for hatching. Fertility is checked DAILY.......Our rooster to hen ratio is a minimum of 1 to 7 in each coop.... more in others..... As with any honest and reputable breeder, we do not guarantee hatch rates due to circumstances beyond our control. Our eggs are stored at 55 degrees for no longer than 3 days and are gently tilted twice daily.........

Just wanted to let you know out of the last batch I got from you I got five beautiful babies. I just love these chickens. In the first batch I got from you the rooster is spoiled rotten. When my husband and I go to the pen we have to pick him up and cuddle with him. He likes to cuddle against my husbands neck and go to sleep, so while I am feeding and watering the others my husband is holding Blackie and letting him sleep. It is a wonder. This last batch of babies are something else. I had one baby from another breed that was having trouble standing so I took him out of the big box and put him in the smaller box with the Australorps and they are a bunch of mother hens. They kept it from rolling over and made it get up and walk. I have learned if you need help with another baby just put them with the australorps and they will be fine.
