The have found the DataCard 220 Embosser on the web, but I have not found another DataCard 220 Plus. I am not sure what the Plus adds to the DataCard 220 package. If someone can tell me I would appreciate it. Although this is a 1993 unit, the service records indicate it was used only 5 years. The log inside the unit indicates the machine was used from 1993 to 1997. The high-def photographs in the gallery concur. This machine is in mint condition with little or no signs of wear.
DataCard 220 Product Information: The DataCard Model 220 Embosser is designed for low to medium volume (IDS recommended volume of up to 300 cards per day). Information to be embossed can be sent from a computer or manually entered into the detachable keyboard (not shown). Upon receiving information, the 220 will feed one card from the input hopper (on the right), encode the magnetic stripe, emboss the card, color top the raised characters (tipper) and then drop the finished card into the output tray (on the left). The input hopper will hold up to 150 blank cards and the output tray will hold up to 15 finished cards. Rejected cards will fall into a separate hopper.
