Ok, now for the real dirt on Her, well the dirt that I heard from my friends sister.
She is a Ford 3000 Gas tractor, she pops off and runs great. She has power steering and aux hydro at the rear. Some of the recent improvements She has received are new LT tires up front as well as a new starter solenoid, HEAD LIGHTS, bulbs all around, carb kit, paint and battery. . Her Tranny is a 6 speed with high AND low range.
She was delivered new on June 27, 1974, a time when Ford new how to build a great creature. She was delivered to Olathe Kansas, in the years thereafter she made her way down south to Texas where she has lived for the last decade or so. Since that time she has only run for 2797hours, based on a 40 work week that is not even a year and a half worth of work!
Her T number is C428900, Model C1023c, Unit 4F07B. She is packing a powerful 47hp, 158 cu. in. 3 cylinder gasoline engine with a enough torque to make a Kubota compact shiver in its tracks. It is true, her sewing machine, excuse me I mean smoothe running engine does not smoke or consume alcohol, gas only.
Her massive bladder holds a whopping 13 gallons, enough for a good day worth of work or PLAY. I also overheard at the cafe that Her power steering is so so incredibly smooth, you could sneeze on her steering wheel and do a u turn if you are not careful. But keep in mind it was overheard.
With such great quality and strength it is hard to believe she only weighs 3700lbs but remember part of that is her 13 gallon bladder, really handy on long trips.
Well You know we are friends, but In a matter like this I cant really tell you what to do, I just know what I would do and what anybody else in there right mind would do. So lets examine the facts.
Facts are Good women that you can trust are hard to find.
Fact is you already know all of the baggage that she could be hiding, not to say that she might have an unknown secret.
True, You could get an import mail order bride but you dont what you are going to get when she is home and you would sure get in trouble if you just put her on a plane back home.
I know she is a chance worth taking, if you dont somebody else sure wil, maybe me.
Before I go just let me tell you a couple important points of interest that I got from Her EX about her.
2. You can drive her any time of the month.
4. She wont whine unless something is really wrong.
5. You can share her with your friends.
6. She does not care how many other tractors you've driven.
7. When riding, you and your tractor can arrive at the same time.
8. She doesnt care how many other tractors you have now.
9. She does not care if you look at other tractors.
11. You'll never hear, "Surprise, you're going to own a new tractor"
12. If she goes flat, you can fix it.
13. If your tractor is too loose, you can tighten it.
14. If your tractor gets misaligned, you don't have to discuss
16. You don't have to be jealous of the guy who works on her.
17. If you say bad things to Her, you don't have to apologize
18. You can ride your tractor as long as you want and it wont get
19. You can stop driving Her as soon as you want and she wont
20. Your parents wont remain in touch with your tractor after you
22. She won't insult you if you're a bad rider.
23. She never wants a night out with other tractors.
24. She don't care if you're late.
25. You don't have to take a shower before you drive Her.
26. If your tractor doesn't look good, you can paint it or get better
27. You can drive Her the first time you meet Her without
having to take it to dinner, see a movie, or meet its mother.
