Trim-kut laminated discs
This revolutionary abrasive disc is designed to grind and finish a wide variety of materials faster and cooler. A highly versatile grinding tool that requires no backing pad, is readily trimable to either renew the cutting surface or reduce the diameter of the disc.
This listing is for 3" x 60 grit Aluminum Oxide discs for use on a drill or die grinder. These durable discs can be used for grinding or sanding. Their unique one-piece design eliminates the need for backing pads. These discs can be trimmed, when the outside edge is "loaded" or worn out to the point where it is not grinding effectively, just simply trim the outside edge off.
Each box of 25 discs includes (1) 1/4" round mandrel to secure disc in drill or die grinder.
These 3" discs are rated to a maximum RPM of 21,000
With the disc securely attached to the tool, run disc at full speed. Bring the plastic side of the disc at a angle of 5-10 degrees against a sharp edgeof secured piece of metal such as angle iron, with constant light pressure, the outside edge will begin to simply peel away, and give you a fresh "like new" disc to begin working with again.
