Cadence II Fetal Monitor is basically the more improve version of Basic Fetal Monitor. Cadence II is a lightweight, space-saving fetal monitor, with its 330mm x 270mm 100mm dimensions and 3.5 kgs. of weight.
The external and internal monitoring parameters ensure it can be used up to and during the second stage labor. This baby heart monitor also can be connected to the MFM-CNS obstetrical central station to construct central monitoring system.
With regards to its performance specifications, this baby heart rate monitor has a 5.7 inch LCD foldable screen that can display waveforms and digitals simultaneously. It also has a powerful memory that can store 12 hours of memory for patient s data and review.
Printing-wise, it can record date, time, TOCO Type, paper speed, FHR type, bed No. etc. to a recording paper of 112mm, Z-fold, thermosensitive, American Standard/International Standard and to a paper advance speed of 1/2/3 cm/min selectable.
The ultrasound feature uses an Ultrasound Pulse Doppler with correlation technique, with pulse repetition rate of 2 KHz, 1.0 MHz of ultrasound frequency, a FHR range of 50bpm-240bpm, a resolution of 1bpm and accuracy of 2 bpm.
With regards to DECG, Cadence II uses peak-peak detection technique, with an FHR range of 30bpm-240bpm, a resolution of 1bpm and accuracy of 1 bpm.
In addition, the Edan fetal monitor s TOCO range is from 0-100 relative (percentage), with one percent resolution, zero mode of auto or manual, and non-linear error of 10%. While the IUP s pressure range of this apparatus is from 0-100mmHg, with one percent resolution, zero mode of auto or manual, and non-linear error of 1mmHg,
The Auto Fetal Movement (AFM) uses a pulse doppler ultrasound technique, with a range of 0-100% and one percent of resolution, while the marking feature utilizes manual fetal movement mark.
The battery made up of 14.8 V rechargeable Lithium-ion battery has a continuous working time of 2-4 hours.
Finally, the fetal monitor s Signal Interface uses a DB9 network interface.
