You are looking at a DIY CNC Carving Machine DIY kit, which is specially designed for and distributed by Zen Toolworks.
This is for everyone who is interested in exploring the CNC world and building their own machine. You will need to assemble the machine together with hand tools. It really doesn't require much special skill. You do need some patient and follow our online instruction carefully.
The machine frames are made from PVC board, and three new Nema 23 stepper motors are included in the package. It also equiped with stainless steel lead screws and brass anti backlash nuts to achieve very accurate machining results. Aluminum flex couplings are also included for all three axis.
With this DIY kit,beginner CNC hobbyists can experience an opportunity to practice all aspects of the CNC world while living within a reasonable budget. In order to run this machine, you will still need a power supply, a 3 axis stepper motor driver, a PC and a cutter of your own choice.You will also need software to run G-Code generated by your CAM application. (The demo below are done with our 7 inch model.)
