This is a W 53 Thermal OVERLOAD RELAY UNIT.
This is a Melt Type Alloy Thermal Relay Unit(heater)
This unit is used as a one piece nontamperable unit for Electric motor protection in the starter control circuit.
Once tripped, the thermal overload relay will not reset until it has cooled, automatically allowing the motor to cool before it can be re-started.
