A high 1200 x 600 dpi print resolution guarantees exceptional color quality for all printing modes (draft, normal, fine) and for all media - whether matt or glossy. A microscopic ink dot size (only 8.5 picoliter) combined with enhanced accuracy ensures both vivid and photo-realistic images.
Printing in 6 Colors with 4 Print Heads
The BJ-W9000 utilises a 6-colour printing process using low density inks - CMYK as well as Photo Cyan and Photo Magenta. This provides improved precision, greater depth and finer tone diffusion. The 4 replaceable print heads, with 256 printing nozzles and 3 chips per head, ensure increased reliability and a longer print head life.
Unique Symmetric, Bi-directional Printing
The innovative print head arrangement allows bi-directional printing, with each color printed in exactly the same sequence on the second run. Thus, unlike conventional bi-directional printing which reverses the layering process, the build up of each color is always identical. This unique feature delivers true color consistency and far smoother output.
Breathtaking speed at 1200 x 600 dpi
Benefit from fast A0 output in only 7 minutes in draft mode while still retaining a high quality 1200 x 600 dpi print resolution. The BJ-W9000 has a long plot capacity of up to 44 meter's in length and will print 4.3m2 per hour in normal mode.
