* The Fisher TissuePrep Flotation Bath model 134 maintains temperature from ambient to 55 degrees Celsius. Remove embedded tissue from microtome and deposit wrinkled tissue sections on surface of bath. When embedding medium softens, specimen slowly unfolds and flattens out upon water surface. Retrieve tissue on microscope slide by slipping slide under section and lifting. Place slide on edge of bath and the heat from the walls will evaporate remaining water. Bath holds 2L of water. Interior bath well is made of black, spun 18-guage porcelainized steel which aids in viewing specimens. Exterior is 16-guage aluminum with a baked acrylic enamel finish. Dimensions are 11 1/4" diameter x 4 1/2" deep (29 x 11 cm).
