This thermometer is industrial grade with threaded end for installation into a vessel. This is anew item, it has never been placed in service. Rapid installation in separable wall or union hub connection without rotating instrument. A braided rope protects the tube from breakage and insulates it from case conduction of external heat to temperature sensitive bulb. Free moving mercury. High accuracy bulbs are aged to prevent changes in volume after installation.
