Operate up to 4 kilns or industrial ovens with an easy to use computer interface. The software allows you to coordinate operation and usage of kiln electrical power by specifying the turn on time / date of each kiln. Thus you can sequence the 4 kilns one after another or other combination in order to stay within the limits of your electrical power. I am always available for email consultations if you need any help when adapting your system and do phone support as well if a person gets really stuck.
Kiln conversion kit with power switch. This package includes
1. 1 Anafaze 4CLS Temperature controller with DC power supply - this particular unit has 4 control loops. Thus it can control up to 4 kilns or control a 4 zone kiln or anything in between.
3. Qty = 4 electronic switches (SSR) rated at 45 amps each. ( upgradeable to higher current ratings )
4. Qty = 4 K type kiln thermocouples with extension wires
5. Qty=1 rs-232 to rs-422 converter
Software allows you to easily design and generate temperature profiles, store and run them. Profiles are stored with English language file names so its easy to recall what profile does what. Software automatically logs temperature readings in a user specified file that also has an English language name. Software allows for email and/or text page alerts to your cell phone or email. Interfaces to your PC serial port using RS-422. The Anafaze controller works with all the common thermocouple types and RTD's of the DIN and JIS type.
With this kit all you have to do is: (1) open one side of the kiln power lines (2) place the switch in series with the power line. (3) mechanically mount the controller and switch ( electronic switches should be heat sinked by being mounted on a metal plate and allowed unobstructed air flow ) See this page for example of how to package the kit: Home Depot Junction Box Packaging Example ( this is a mounting scheme used for single channel controllers )
Kit comes wired so that all you have to do is wire your kiln and box up your setup.
