The Harmonic Spectrum Set is a full middle octave of 8 tuning forks (C,D,E,F,G,A,B,C) based on the Pythagorean Scale, also known as the Just Scale. The octave of tuning forks in this set is C through the next higher C. They are the traditional chakra frequencies from the Hindu tradition with C being the root chakra, D the sacral chakra, etc.
The Harmonic Spectrum Set works at a more physical level than the Chakra Tuning Forks.
The Chakra Tuning Forks are not based on a musical scale, but based on the rotation of the planets around the Sun.
The Harmonic Spectrum Set is tuned to be more in touch with the physical plane of existence. The physical plane is denser, more crystallized, more cognitive, more centered more around the 5 human senses and the bodily tissues, fluids, bones, organs, etc.

Each aluminum alloy tuning fork is calibrated to create a pure frequency. They tone accurately, longer and stronger than steel tuning forks, and vibrate at the highest possible level. Unlike steel tuning forks, aluminum alloy tuning fork frequencies also create a vibration of subtle overtones and are designed for healers & practitioners of Vibrational Energy Medicine as well as those who wish to create their own healing experience with sound
Carrying Case: Each set and each individual fork comes in a protective styrofoam or Plactic case.
* Prongs physically move with less motion. When the stem end is placed on the body, can physically feel the vibration more subtly.

UNWEIGHTED tuning forks are perfect for using individually or harmonically especially in the ENERGY FIELD. Use them harmonically by gently tapping two forks together or by striking them.
* Prongs physically move in a bigger motion, thus when the stem end is placed on the body, you can physically feel the vibration more and also feel the vibration at a deeper level
* Sound lasts longer, but is softer and more diffused.

WEIGHTED tuning forks are excellent to use individually with the stem placed on the body or by toning above & around the body. They are quite easy to tone by tapping on palm of hand or by using the Striker.
Correct Way to HOLD Tuning Forks
Always hold only the stem handle at the bottom of the fork. Touching the prongs will stop the vibration. See illustration below:
Instructions for TONING the Tuning Forks
There are several ways to tone your tuning forks:
1. for the softest sound, tap tuning forks on a hard muscle such as the thigh near the knee or the firmest part of the palm of your hand
2. for a slightly louder sound, tap gently on your knee cap
3. for a loud sound, strike with our Rubber Mallet
4. for the loudest sound, very gently tap two tuning forks against each other or tap a single fork on the edge of a hard surface such as a table
Possible Ways to USE the Tuning Forks
Tone a single fork or two forks together to create a harmonic and either hold or move above the body or place stem end on:
* any tissue of the body such as bones, organs and muscles
* acupuncture points or meridian energy lines (known as Soundpuncture]
* reflex zones of feet, hands, ears or head
* chakras or transition points between chakras, front or back
* a crystal as you direct the crystal toward the recipient
