The Temperature Controller is an electrothermal device that heats and cools samples in the sample compartment by controlling heat exchange devices (called Peltiers) positioned around the sample. It uses a built-in water reservoir as a heat transfer device to prevent the sample compartment from reaching high temperatures.
* The Temperature Controller electronically controls the Peltiers in the thermostattable accessories.
* It circulates water past the Peltiers to remove waste heat.
* It dissipates heat to the atmosphere by using a heat exchanger.
The Temperature Controller is operated by the Cary WinUV software interface.
