The RADIO SHACK PRO-2024 Programmable Scanner lets you in on all the action! This scanner gives you direct access to over 23,000 frequencies in ten action-packed radio bands including police, fire, ambulance, ham radio, aircraft and transportation services. You can select up to 60 channels for your PRO-2024 scanner to scan and you can change your selections at any time. The secret to the scanners's ability to scan so many frequencies is it's custom designed microprocessor - a tiny, built in computer.
* LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY - Shows the channel number, frequency and several other indicators.
* SIX CHANNEL STORAGE BANKS - Allows you to group your stored frequencies so that calls are easier to identify.
* LIMIT SEARCH - Allows you to scan through all available frequencies in a predertmined range to locate new and unlisted broadcasts.
* PRIORITY CHANNEL - Designates channel 1 as a priority channel and will check it every 2 seconds during scanning to not miss any important replies.
* MEMORY BACKUP - Retains the frequencies stored in memory for up to one hour if the scanner is unplugged or a power failure occurs.
* LOCKOUT FUNCTION - Lets you set your scanner to skip over specified channels.
* SCAN DELAY - Allows scanning to delay a few seconds in case more replies come through on the channel you were listening to.
* MONITOR MEMORIES - Allows you to store up to six additional channels your scanner locates during a limit search.
