Efd 2000XL fluid paste dispenser ready to use complete
* Used Foot switch in verified operating condition - will show obvious signs of use but work perfectly.
* 10 3cc (shown in pictures) or 10cc (your choice) syringes with 1 new connector hose
The 2000XL dispenser increases yields and reduces rejects in assembly processes by using a timed air pulse to apply the same amount of adhesive, caulk or other liquid or paste on every part. It can also be used with a "pressure pot" storage system to provide the heart of a very precise filling or injection system for markers, paint pens, etc.
The 2000XL dispenser applies adhesives, epoxies and other assembly fluids in precise amounts as small as 0.006" in diameter. Typical uses include the assembly of medical catheters, fiber optic components, disk drives, and other products that require an extremely high degree of process control.
The 2000XL dispenser uses microprocessor circuitry to control the amount of fluid applied. A special "teach" function helps the user determine the correct amount of fluid to use for a specific application, while digital displays of all dispensing parameters provide exceptional process control.
Fluid application is simple, fast, and accurate. To dispense the preset amount of material, the user just holds the barrel reservoir like a pen, places the tip in position and presses an electric foot pedal. Up to 8 different deposit amounts can be stored in non-volatile memory and easily recalled at the push of a button.
EFD's 2000XL fluid dispenser ensures accuracy in critical dispensing processes like medical catheter assembly by using microprocessor circuitry and digital displays of all dispensing parameters to control the amount of material applied.
One of the best features of the 2000XL is the vacuum pull-back system. The vacuum control allows low viscosity fluids, even water, to be consistently dispensed without dripping between cycles. The vacuum exerts a negative pressure on the fluid in the barrel and prevents dripping.
Intelligent technology makes the 2000XL Series easy to set up and use. With one-touch setup, just press the pedal to determine the proper amount. The microprocessor remembers the time and repeats this amount with each cycle until you are ready to change it. From micro deposits to volumetric filling, the 2000XL provides the ultimate in control and versatility for time/pressure-based fluid dispensing.
Unlike hand syringes, dental picks and other manual tools that rely on operator judgment to control the amount of adhesive applied, precision timer in the 2000XL makes it easy for any worker to make accurate, consistent deposits.
This particular unit is in decent but obviously used condition outside, and excellent conditiion inside. There are a few minor scratches and nicks in the case, and there may be label residue. It powers up properly, the digital timer can be adjusted and counts down properly, and the solenoid operates correctly. It has been tested and works properly: the gauges read, the regulator and timer adjust, the dispense function works.
The 2000XL Series automatic fluid dispensers are designed to provide complete process control using advanced microprocessor circuitry. All microprocessor functions are accessed by push button. Read what the EFD manual for these units has to say.
