Do you have a Yaesu FTM-305R and are disappointed in your options for mounting it? Do you want to be able to remove the radio to remove it from sight? Well, here is the solution for you!
This "kit" includes the parts needed to make it easy to mount and remove the radio, rather than using the factory supplied suction cup mount.
There are three parts included, a hex head screw, a mount for the back of the Yaesu FTM-350R radio head and a bracket which can be mounted on your vehicle using two screws (screws not included). It fits with the FGPS-1 installed.
I mounted the bracket on a Panavise mount by mounting an aluminum piece to the back and then using a hose clamp to hold it to the Panavise rod. There are many other ways to mount your radio using these parts.
