Full, new roll of self-adhesive copper window foil stripping / copper glass foil stripping / copper film is peel-off self sticking copper foil, made by 3M. The peel & stick copper foil roll is 1/4" wide and thin - typical of security copper foil for windows, glass sliding doors and skylights to detect glass breakage for burglar alarm systems / intrusion security systems. Will also work on plexiglass and other plastics, and smooth wood. The roll is not labeled as to how long the copper stripping foil strip is and I have not unrolled it to measure it, but the rolls are new and appears to be 100 feet per roll.
Copper is becoming increasingly scarce and expensive, and this Item has many important uses, including but not limited to: (1) Alarm and security systems (its big advantage over aluminum stripping is that it can be soldered). (2) Electronic uses, including power buses, ground buses, microwave antennas, microwave inductors, RF coils, metal detector coils, tesla coil primary windings, other high-current coils / high-power coils / huge winding ratio transformers, ground planes for electronic circuits, electronic shielding and crack sealing, converting lengths of unshielded wire(s) into shielded cable, high-current electromagnetic coils and transformers, static electric dischargers (I use some around my computer keyboards), and as general substitute for wire, especially where self-sticking conductor or flat conductor is important (for example, you can run it along a wall without without using using nails to attach it), etc. (3) Crafts and Christmas decorations and other decorations. (4) Sign-making, display making, tags, labels and other art. (5) Striping for vehicles (car striping). (6) Striping for homes (home striping, e.g. to decorate walls and furniture). (7) Jewelry. (8) Decorate ceramics. (9) Decorate models. (10) Stained glass window manufacture. (11) Secure tape that won't stretch and is much stronger to breaking to bundle heavier items together.
