REMP LHS Automated Microplate Sealer
According to our research, REMP offers three different styles of well plate sealing heat sealers; Landscape Heat Sealer(LHS), Portrait Heat Sealer(PHS), and Stacking Heat Sealer (SHS), all of which are capable of sealing 1536-well plates. This one is a model LHS 041, a Landscape heat sealer. It is supposed to be controlled using an ActiveX EXE (RS-232) or, more primitively, via a contact switch closure. The LHS also possesses a 15-pin communication port used specifically to communicate directly with a CybiWell or similar instrument.
We found a link to the portrait heat sealer. Please note this is the landscape version. It uses Remp Thermoseals, (not included).
The green light comes on at the rear power switch but we don't know how to use it or get it to heat up or turn. There are two displays on the front, one is a timer and one is a display. There is no power to the display. There is a ding on the display. Just the timer itself powers on and responds to push buttons. The system has light surface wear from prior use.
