The DS Series is an electromechanical alternative to air cylinders. The Series is comparable in size and price, but it offers capabilities that pneumatic air cylinders can't match, including: Multiple positioning Acceleration/deceleration programmability Speed setting programmability Programmable control The Slider Type is more of a traditional design, with the slider moving smoothly and programmable within the given stroke length.
The DS Series is a 2-axis configuration called "DS Systems". Options include: Magnetic Brake AQ Seal Long-Term Lubrication Controller Features CPU Driver User I/O External 24V DC power supply Memory for 1,000 steps of programming Positioning for up to 500 points 15 user inputs (standard) 6 user outputs (standard) Actuator Specifications The DS Series Slider Type design incorporates the same patented integrated motor principles as our IS Series, but at a lower wattage.
