This is a uniden bearcat BC8500XLT 500 channel scanner.
with optional ctcss tone board.

I bought brand new, it worked fine then one night we had a bad lighting storm and power surge.
How there is no audio at all (it's not the speaker) everything else seems to be working ok.
Maybe you can fix or know what the problem is. salvage the ctcss tone board?
