Prairie Mfg - Farm Implement sharpening wheel
This sharpening wheel was given to farmers as an incentive for them to purchase other implements and plows. It's designed so it can be attached basically anywhere on the tractor or a frame so it could be used in the field when sharpening a plow or disc.
The brace has two pivot points so it can be adjusted to fit any tool and sharpen at any angle (see last picture). The gear ratio allows for the sharpening wheel to spin very fast with just a few turns of the handle.
This sharpening wheel still works very well.
It is approximately 11" tall not including the adjustment knob at the bottom, and 10" wide to the end of the handle. The sharpening wheel is 5" in diameter.
