The Model 706 has capacity for 10 switching cards, allowing up to 100 channels of 2 pole switching or 200 matrix crosspoints. The matrix memory stores up to 75 sets of complex relay closures, and recalls any one either directly (by selecting the memory location) or sequentially (with the Step scan control). A digital I/O port with 8 lines in and 8 lines out is convenient for monitoring or controlling interlock switches, materials handlers.
