Lot of 25 200 micron polyester filter bags free ship
For sale is a lot of 25 polyester felt filter bags. These are rated at 200 microns (nominal). They have steel rings sewn into the top of the bag & have a non-glazed ("fuzzy") outer surface. These bags are excellent for coarse initial filtration, but not recommended where fiber migration would not be desirable in the final filtered solution. Bags are 7" diameter & only 9" long and can be used free hanging from a pipe using a filter head adapter or attached with a fastener or clamp directly to the pipe. Please note that these bags DO NOT have a strap sewn across the mouth of the bags to facilitate hanging from a pipe. Polyester is fairly good with a maximum heat of 180-200 degrees F but is generally not as chemical resistant as polypropylene. These are excellent bags for filtering water or waste vegetable oil (WVO) to make biodiesel.
