Having a nominal composition of 42% Nickel, 56% Copper, 1.25% Manganese and 0.25% Iron, this wire offers a high specific resistance and negligible temperature coefficient. It is an excellent choice for heavy duty Rheostats, wire wound precision resistors, volume control devices and strain gauges. It can be welded or soldered and has a good resistance to atmospheric corrosion.
