The SNAP B-series racks are designed to work with
the SNAP B3000 family of intelligent I/O processors for
use in applications that require the remote control of
both analog and digital modules. All SNAP B-series
racks are also compatible with SNAP Ethernet I/O.
B3000 brains are designed to communicate with Opto
22 controllers or a host computer. Since SNAP analog
using SNAP B-series racks can mix analog and digital
modules on the same I/O mounting rack. In addition, these racks can accommodate SNAP serial communication modules. SNAP
B-series racks can accommodate 4, 8, 12, or 16 modules.
Opto 22 s G4 AC output modules are used to control or switch AC loads. Each module provides up to 4000 volts of optical isolation (transient) between field outputs and the control side of the circuit, and each features zero voltage turn-on and zero current turn-off. This AC output module is equivalent to a single-pole, single-throw, normally open contact (Form A, SPST-NO).
