This lock cylinder has openings cut into the pin chambers that allow you to see the inner workings of the lock when a key is inserted. You actually can see the pins moving up and down as the key slides into and out of the lock.
You can see how the pins line up when a good key is inserted into the lock.
This lock comes with 2 keys; One good key and one that doesn t open the lock. I also put extra pins, springs, and a wrench to open the top of the lock. You can then use the extra parts to change things around and practice working on a real lock. You can see from the pictures that it is easy to see the pins and the interaction with the key when it is inserted.
